We know how busy it can get leading up to Christmas, so we’ve adjusted some of our opening hours to suit you. Our Customer Service Desk is also open during the below hours and can be located inside the main Te Awa entrance, near Westpac and Spark. The hours of the cinemas and large retailers may differ – please contact them directly for hours.
Whether you’re an early bird or a night elf, here are our hours to help you find your festive and tick off that Christmas list at The Base.
Standard hours (to 17 December) are:
- Monday to Wednesday: 9am – 6pm
- Thursday and Friday: 9am – 9pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9am – 6pm
Our Extended Christmas hours (from 18 December) are:
- Thursday 18 December – Tuesday 23 December: 9am – 9pm
- Wednesday 24 December (Christmas Eve): 9am – 6pm
- Thursday 25 December, Christmas Day: CLOSED
- Friday 26 December (Boxing Day): 9am – 9pm
- Saturday 27 December – Wednesday 31 December: 9am – 6pm
Our New Year hours are:
- Thursday 1 January (New Years Day): 9am – 6pm
- Friday 2 January: 9am – 9pm
- Normal trading hours resume Saturday 3 January 2025
