Having fun is one of the best ways of learning and retaining new skills.  Celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori with us with a game of Tākaro - the locally created game that will have you growing your Te Reo Māori skills day by day.

GIANT TĀKARO IN-CENTRE

Make your next trip to The Base a learning journey by visiting our giant Tākaro round with friends and whaanau.  Challenge each other to korero the correct answer the fastest to keep score and scan the QR code at each site to be in to win Tākaro and gift card prizes.

TĀKARO GAMES NIGHT:  FRIDAY 16 SEPTEMBER, 6PM-9PM

Grab a group and book in Friday 16 September to play Tākaro in the foodcourt.  No bookings required - show up for dinner and/or a game any time between 6pm and 9pm.  We'll have staff on hand to help and spot prizes to give away!
