If there was ever a place for one-stop Christmas shopping, The Base is it!  And if you can take your gifts home wrapped and ready to pop under the tree, you can tick another job off your list and find a little more time to be merry yourself!

For a gold coin or eftpos donation, get your gifts wrapped by our chosen community group. Thank you for supporting Volunteering Waikato, who get all of the proceeds from your donation to benefit local charities year-round by matching up volunteers with these organisations to do the mahi.  Ka pai!

About Volunteering Waikato

Volunteering Waikato was established in 1993 and has two main objectives – to ensure community groups get the volunteers they need, and to ensure that volunteers get the most out of their decision to give their time, energy and passion.

They do this by matching volunteers with the organisations where they will have the greatest impact, enjoyment and sense of contribution.

They provide services throughout the Waikato Region including the Waikato, Waipa, Thames/Coromandel, Hauraki, Matamata/Piako, Otorohanga, Waitomo, South Waikato and Taupo Districts.

Dates and times:

From Monday 11 December to Sunday 24 December, 10am – 6pm.  You can see our centre opening hours here.

You can find our gift wrapping booths:

  • Outside Glassons
  • At the north end of the centre near Santa’s Enchanted Kiwi Forest
